Maize is an alternative crop for Sugarcane and was introduced as a second cash crop to small and marginal farmers. The maize development program implemented by Yashwant Sahakari Glucose Karkhana Limited has given a new vision to the youth from the region, providing direct employment to 500 people and indirect employment to approximate 300 people. Our efforts to provide agriculturally and employment service to the people have been successful in preventing youth generation migrating towards urban areas.
